1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of information saved by your browser. BAASIL uses cookies (and similar technologies like local storage) so your Employment Companion works properly and remembers you between visits.

2. How BAASIL uses cookies

  • Login. Keeps you securely signed in so you don't have to re-enter your password every time.
  • Preferences. Remembers your settings — like your dashboard view, language and notification choices.
  • Analytics. Helps BAASIL understand which features actually help companions get employed so we can improve them.
  • Security. Detects suspicious activity and protects your account from unauthorised access.
  • Performance. Keeps BAASIL fast by caching parts of the app your device has already loaded.

3. Third-party cookies

Some features rely on trusted providers (for example, Google sign-in and secure hosting). These providers may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies. BAASIL only works with providers that meet appropriate security standards.

4. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Please note: if you block essential cookies (like the ones that keep you signed in), parts of BAASIL will not work.

5. Contact

Questions about cookies? Contact BAASIL support through the Help section of your account.
