Community Guidelines
Last updated 1 July 2026 · Written in plain Australian English.
1. BAASIL is a supportive community
BAASIL was built for everyday Australians — including workers returning to employment, those with limited digital confidence, and companions with English as a second language. Our community must always feel welcoming, respectful and encouraging.
2. How we treat each other
- Be kind. Every companion is on their own employment journey.
- Be honest. Give truthful information in resumes, applications and messages.
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, discrimination or bullying — ever.
- Be safe. Do not share other people's personal information without their permission.
3. Future community features
These guidelines apply now — and will apply to future community features including forums, messaging, comments, Mentor discussions and any Employment Coach chat. When these features go live, we will publish extra rules specific to each.
4. Reporting concerns
If someone is behaving in a way that goes against these guidelines, please contact BAASIL support through the Help section of your account. Reports are treated confidentially.
